Dancer. Choreographer. Model. Mover.Darius Boatner, known professionally as Dario, is a 28-year-old dancer and choreographer born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where he began his dance training at the age of six. Now based in Los Angeles, Dario has built a career spanning dance, choreography, and creative direction, working alongside some of the industry’s most celebrated artists.
As a performer, Dario has appeared in music videos including Chris Brown’s “For the Moment” and “Psychic,” Victoria Monét’s “On My Mama,” Tate McRae’s “2 Hands,” and Camila Cabello’s “Don’t Go Yet,” with additional projects alongside artists including Rauw Alejandro, Adele, Tinashe, and Destin Conrad to name a few. His performance credits span stages alongside Rihanna, The Weeknd, LISA, and Big Sean, including Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV Halftime Show, Savage X Fenty Vol. 3 and 4, and performances across the Billboard Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, American Music Awards, and Latin GRAMMYs. Dario has toured with Rauw Alejandro on his Vice Versa Tour, toured with Janet Jackson and performed in her Las Vegas residency, and assisted and danced on BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE World Tour 2025–2026.
Expanding his work beyond performance, Dario has established himself as a choreographer, with credits spanning touring, live performance, music videos, and award shows. His most recent work includes choreographing for Kehlani across music videos, award show appearances, touring, and live stages, while serving as co-choreographer on her Kehlani World Tour 2026. His choreography credits also include Janet Jackson and Omarion, and he was credited as Assistant Choreographer for Kirk Franklin’s 2025 BET Awards performance.
With a foundation rooted in performance and an evolving voice as a choreographer and creative, Dario continues to expand his artistry across stage and screen, with aspirations to create, teach, direct, and share his craft around the world.
